The promise

Built to remember. So you don't have to.

Folders don't scale. A folder system works at 30 links and breaks at 300. By 600 you're nesting folders inside folders and renaming "Misc / Misc 2 / TempThings". The problem isn't you — it's that hierarchies don't match how your brain wants to retrieve things.
